INTRODUCTION

I am an Educational Technology Designer and future educator with a strong passion for creating inclusive, accessible, and meaningful learning experiences. My work is grounded in a commitment to supporting diverse learners through thoughtful instructional design, innovative technology use, and student-centred teaching practices.

Background and Education

I am currently pursuing a degree in Educational Studies, where I have developed a strong foundation in instructional design, curriculum development, and inclusive education. In addition to my educational background, I bring a unique interdisciplinary perspective through my experience in fashion design and marketing. This combination allows me to approach learning design with creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of user experience.

Throughout my academic journey, I have designed and developed a range of educational materials, including lesson plans, digital learning tools, and technology-enhanced activities aligned with curriculum standards. In addition, I have gained valuable hands-on experience working as an Educational Assistant with the Thames Valley District School Board, where I supported diverse learners, assisted with classroom instruction, and contributed to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.

My Approach to Learning Design

My approach to teaching and learning design is guided by principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), equity, and accessibility. I believe that all students should have multiple ways to engage with content, express their understanding, and succeed in meaningful ways.

I design learning experiences that are structured yet flexible, allowing students to build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and connect learning to their own experiences and identities.
