This Google Classroom was designed for a Grade 2 Health and Physical Education unit focused on mental health, emotional awareness, and self-regulation. The classroom includes structured topics such as understanding feelings, making healthy choices, and developing coping strategies. It integrates lessons, interactive activities, videos, and resources for both students and caregivers. The design supports student engagement through clear instructions, visual content, and accessible materials aligned with Ontario curriculum expectations.

Reflection

Creating this Google Classroom helped me understand how to organize digital learning in a clear and meaningful way for young learners. I learned the importance of structuring content into simple sections, using visuals, and providing step-by-step guidance to support student understanding. This experience also strengthened my ability to design inclusive learning environments by offering students multiple ways to engage with content, such as videos, interactive books, and reflection questions. Overall, this project improved my confidence in using digital tools to support student learning and well-being.
